This reference deployment does not skim transactions—buyers pay your configured recipient. Hosting costs are yours.
Can I see my past links?+
Yes. Open My links after connecting the same wallet you used when creating links.
Is this production-ready?+
Treat it as a demo and audit before real money. Rate limits, abuse prevention, and key management are your responsibility on a self-hosted instance.
Buyers
Do you hold my SOL?+
No. Buyers send SOL directly to the recipient address for the link. The app only checks chain history for a matching memo and amount.
Why use a memo?+
The memo binds a transfer to a specific link id so the server knows which file to unlock without custodial accounts.
What if I forget the memo?+
Verification looks for the exact memo tied to the link. Without it, the payment may not match and the download stays locked—copy the memo from the paywall page before sending.
Is the file on-chain?+
No. Files live on the app server (or your host volume). Solana proves payment; storage stays off-chain unless you extend it.
